I eat here with my Japanese missus and kids. I don’t know what other reviewers think what good gyoza is supposed to be. We think the gyoza here is better than anything in Thailand we have had in our seven years living here. Udon is really good too. Ignore all the bad reviews. Didn't feel like having a big meal and figured this would be a good place. Was pleasantly surprised regarding the gyoza. Have never been a fan of Gyoza served at other restaurants, but I am a fan now. The 7-time winning gyoza comes in a delicious soup and was worried about it being soupy like a Chinese wonton, but the meat and cover was delicious. I also ordered the traditional gyoza and it was served with lime and pepper, a very odd combination at first glance but absolutely essential to getting the flavor the owner intended it to be. Furthermore, I ordered a yakitori don, rice bowl but it was only on the side menu and not in the main one. Highly recommended as the chicken is braised I think and delicious. The menus are a bit faded so it makes it hard to read, but the winning one is immediately on the inside of the menu cover. Flip one page and you will see the "original" gyoza as you may have seen it on other menus. The staff's English isn't great, so best to point at what you want in the menu. If you miss the taste of Japan or want to know what it tastes like, this definitely is the place to go. Highly recommended.
