(ต้นฉบับ) Walking the streets of Karon in Phuket, we found very little that catered to our vegan lifestyle. I’m so glad we kept walking past every carbon copy restaurant that offered vegetarian options, because we stumbled across Govinda’s. They had just opened a few days prior - what luck! They had so many options, and the vegan menu items were well marked with the signature green V we are used to seeing in the states. We were so hungry we could have ordered something off of every page, but ended up getting a couple of traditional Indian dishes which were delectable and freshly prepared. The mixed bean salad was refreshing and dressed in what tasted like it might have been peanut oil - genius move. I was most impressed by the vegan mozzarella made from cashew nuts that satisfies my pizza cravings. If you’re a vegan in the Karon Beach area of Phuket, this is a must-stop eatery!
