Let's start with people. Mike and his family, which also happens to be how he makes you feel, are wonderful. They are friendly, care about your experience, do the best to accommodate and go round personally to check on everyone when they can. I've worked in restaurants for a huge portion of my life and the atmosphere and how one feels is truly important. Bad meals can be forgiven with great service. Which is not a problem, as I have never had a bad meal. The legendary buffets spoil you for choice. It is a lovely balance of good old western food which I crave at times, as well as lovely balanced Thai food. Both made with experience, skill and love. Some say 400baht is steep, I understand, but you get what you pay for and more. I think it's a more than value for money. It's a massive family cookout and I love it. You can also visit this lovely dining house in regular hours, no need to wait once a month or special events. They have everything you love there and waiting. I highly recommend, 10/10 good bois.
