We were presented with an array of wonderfully presented dishes with incredible tastes. The chef Jump, presented each dish and explained the ingredients. It was clear his passion is amazing food. One of our party chose a plant based meal that has to be experienced to be believed. The setting and service from our server Ying were nothing less then perfect.

Amazing quality food. Between the starters, entrees, and desserts, we were delighted with small tastings that were incredible. The pomelo salad in a spoon looked like a small serving but it was packed with flavor. The crispy pork was nicely done. Seared tuna was cooked to perfection. Pad thai was quality. Mind you, after having Thai food for 5 days at this point I was getting worn out with it. However, Jahn is fine dining and it was a great change of pace. Enjoy the ambiance, the service, and the fine food.

Followed by Elephant Black Ivory coffee (the elephant version of Luwak coffee - 1200 THB serves two, made in front of you in the nifty syphon brewer pictured). Views great, service outstanding. When doing one of their two set menus they will pick you up from anywhere on the island, which is usefull since the hotel is about as far from the rest of the islands attractions and resorts as its possible to get. Probably the most expensive food on the island, but worth it as a honeymoon treat!
