The first Robatayaki restaurant I experienced was in Tokyo, and it was also a memorable meal. But Karatama, did not disappoint in any way either. They have 2 serving stations, and the wagyu, fish, asparagus, chillies, sake....were absolutely delicious. The chef, the staff, the ambience, the guests all added to a very enjoyable evening. A trifle expensive.....but still worth it !!
It was divine. Service was excellent and the chef was extremely friendly and professional. It wasn't cheap but it was worth every satang spent. Food was fresh and the meat and seafood would put taste buds into heaven. Highly recommended, even if just once.
* You may want to order the food first, then have the waitress recommend a good sake pairing. Don't make our mistake.
Great staff. They let us in when it started to rain when our hotel was evacuated. Great beer. Great staff and owner. Kindness has no language barrier. Thx again.
