Great place for Shan/ Tai/ Thai Yai food. Very accommodating and friendly owner. Highly recommend as it is hard to find any Tai sit down restaurants in Chiang Mai.

One of the best restaurants we've been to. The fish cooked in lime sauce was so tender and the spicy sauce it came with did both of us in. The texture of the 'tofu' nwe was perfect - it came with plenty of noodles and some very tasty seasoning. The Mao kingdom pork noodles were sensational - we loved the mixture of crispy pork slices and rice noodles and green sauce. The sukiyaki was a soup to warm the cockles of your heart after a long day's walk. Overall, we couldn't have gotten a better meal for 450 baht! We'll be back!

I'm compelled to join the previous reviewer in her praise for this extraordinary establishment. Truly one of the five or six unforgettable restaurants I've been to, this Tai/Burmese, which seems to be run out of the front room of a single female chef, could charge ten times as much for its food in London or New York and still have punters standing in 90-minute lines. Gastronomic magic.
