Best craft beer bar in Thailand
This is a classy, cosy, excellently managed craft beer bar and restaurant in Chiang Mai. I have lived in Thailand over 9 years and visited dozens of the new craft beer places that are now popping up everywhere, and this is easily the best.
The owners Em and Namton have created an intimate oasis for couples, families or groups who enjoy creative and tasty beers. It's also easy for people on their own to go and feel at home and relaxed, as I did. The attention to detail and creativity makes this place feel quite special, with a homely feel.
The service is highly efficient while remaining warm and friendly. The staff Waii and Join are professionally excellent, charming and also very knowledgeable about the beers, and very good at recommendations. The food, which is cooked up by the owner, is wide ranging and delicious and reasonably priced. I had the fettucine carbonara which was delicious. Their edamame snack is also cheap and fresh and plentiful.
There are 12 taps with a great balance of different tastes, whether local or regional (Japan) or global (imported). There's also a good choice of refridgerated bottled beers.
I highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner, a business meeting, a party with friends or a solo evening of beer tasting.
To get there, just cross the Iron Bridge to the other side of the Ping River (away from Old Town side). Turn right and walk all along the road for about a kilometre and it's on the right.
I think you'll agree with me that it is an oasis, and that the team who work there deserve full marks.

The main dish is very delicious, I recommended you to order a grill salmon with salt.
For the tap beer, they have a twelve tap beer you can choose.

Huge selection of beers, Thai craft & International imports. On top of that the house bar has a good ambience, is well designed and friendly staff willing to help with suggestions. RECOMMENDATION - If it’s available and you like a stout give the Chocolate Hazelnut Porter by Heretic a go. Blew. Me. Away. ��
