However, the food is quite simple and one could say bland. Don’t come here expecting a spicy, intensely flavourful meal. Its great for a light meal if you want a break from some of the more traditionally flavourful Thai dishes.

Happy Green is definitely my favorite spot to grab lunch in Chiang Mai. The food is fantastic, the lunch buffet is the best and has amazing value for just 140 baht, and the owner is a total sweetheart. Totally vegan food with great flavor. I'd recommend this spot to anyone, regardless of whether or not they are vegan (not a vegan myself). Oh, and the location is beautiful too! : )

I was talking with them last night and they said jokingly I must only think their food is delicious if I'm very hungry but otherwise not delicious. My thai is limited but that was the gist of it. They obviously notice that nearly every time I'm in there I'm eating enough for a family. But, it's because I live in Mae On 40km out of town and nearly every time I'm heading by their location I'm returning from some big training event at Doi Suthep-Pui National park (it's one of the main reasons I come into town). However this brings up two great points. (1) The food IS delicious and if I lived closer I'd come in often for just a normal sized meal. (2) They are such warm and loving woman working there. Not only do they never guilt about my insatiable appetite, but they encourage it! Many times they've gone out of their way to quickly custom make some small dish to add to the already amazing buffet because they want me to try some new Som Tam or Thai dessert. Great place, great atmosphere, great staff.

Loving every single thing about this amazing place. Have been going to Happy Green for a more than week almost everyday and loving it more and more. The ladies working there are AMAZING. The food is always best quality and it tastes just perfectly. The view. You will love the view, I promise. It’s stunning. come and show this place some love!��

Happy Green is a little nugget of gold no visitor to the lovely city of Chiang Mai should miss. They are happy to cater to your requirements, no matter how diverse or rare. They grow their own food on site and it's a treat to not only have a view of their extensive garden as you enjoy your meal but also to be able to take a walk amongst it afterward to help you digest.

Its an awesome place to sit in a traditional Thai wooden building, overlooking the fields and a temple. Super relaxing! The buffet is delicious and very filling for 150b. Tastes home made - which it is!

THE BEST RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD!!! I LOVE the two beautiful, kind ladies who work here! The food is so amazing and fresh. The atmosphere is so calm and peaceful. I love that they have their own garden in the back. This place has so much charm. I'd rather eat here than any of the tourist aimed vegan restaurants in CM. This place is a gem. Kappun Kaa for the hospitality and lovely memories!! I will be back!!��
