Since moving to Hua Hin from the US, I am ALWAYS on the hunt for a cheeseburger to rival the fantastic versions I would get back home. My eye has been on Engine House for a while,and I finally got a chance to visit.
It is a very good cheeseburger. I could have done without some weird, balsamic kinda sauce on it, which wasn’t mentioned in the menu description. It overpowered the burger and I tried to scrape most of it off, but it was powerful and lingering. I will ask for them to leave it off next time. I also enjoyed the crinkle-cut fries. I made an impromptu fry sauce at my table, using the side of mayo they gave me with the bottle of Heinz ketchup at my table. Wonderful. Good location too, at the Market Village Mall. You can sit outside and watch the people go by.

I noticed the restaurant and checked out the menu out front, it looked good so I decided to go in and give it a try. I was shown to a table and handed a menu. I decided on the Western BBQ Burger.
My burger was huge (photo posted), I removed three of the onion rings so that I would be able to fit it into my mouth and take a bite. It was good!
This a restaurant / Sports Bar, the interior is inviting with a nice atmosphere. There are two Television monitors mounted on the south and east walls for your viewing pleasure. The service was efficient and friendly. I will be going back!
Engine House is located just out front of Hua Hin Market Village right next to McDonald's.

Nette Bar und Restaurant im Open Air Eingangsbereich des Market Village Einkaufszentrum. Früher war hier Mix & Match, die aber in einen Seitenflügel umgezogen sind, warum auch immer. As the name suggests; if you enjoy sport, there are numerous screens showing different sports. Great variety of draft and bottled beers. Beer is slightly more expensive than other bars because VAT is added to your bill. Great menu of European / Thai snacks and meals. The is a happy hour between 4pm and 8pm featuring cocktails. The bar is situated adjacent to the main square fronting Market Village. Great for people watching, but can be extremely noisy if there is a promotion taking place on the square. I guess you could go inside to the air conditioned bar area. Staff are warm, friendly and efficient. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and still frequent the place after a thirsty shopping trip. Would highly recommend a visit.
