Bellini

Rome in Chalong. It's my third time I enjoyed a meal here. Each time I ate in what must be a newly opened place by its perfect decor, I leave with a smile. First time I came For a quick pizza with my kids and left with a full belly after the Italian owner took his time to teach my boys (and me) the art of eating sliced meats with fresh breads from his brick oven. His Pizza was crisp and the sauce was perfect. Second time with my wife we had black mussels like we would eat back in Canada and ordered it a second helping. This time I was all alone, I hesitated over the menu and the owner decided he would order for me, lol. What a treat a simple pasta with tomato sauce and bacon perfectly spiced. All served with fresh bread accompanied with wonderful balsamic and olive oils with thinly cut quality Parmesan cheese. Coupled with a great red house wine, I savoured my meal. I ordered alone but didn't eat alone, there is a wonderful atmosphere and chef Daniel cheerifully checks on you and your meal. Best family Italian restaurant I have been to in Thailand by far. Plus nothing to break the bank when the bill came despite the drinks and dessert.
