I'm into older Rock and the soundtrack and live music was great. They don't have an open kitchen right now so I think the other review is invalid. It's a cocktail bar and should be judged as such, and it does that well. Very nice staff and some cool artwork that you can buy.

Reason why i am writing this review is about sushi. Please don't eat sushi here if you don't want to waste your money as we did. Am a half japanese and previously worked as a chef as well, and what they serve is not sushi at all. Of course i didn't expect any authentic sushi as the one i can get from japan, but other than that, it was just rice roll with some thin smoked salmon and smelly cheese which doesn't make a good combination at all. There are restaurants in Japan which make rolls with cream cheese and salmon, but this was not something like that AT ALL. We asked one of the staffs saying that the cheese is too strong, not a good combination but they only said 'it's Philadelphia cream cheese and you can ask the chef'. Of course as customers we can't just go into the kitchen and ask the chef 'what kind of cheese is that', and secondly, the reason why we asked that was not to know what brand of cheese the restaurant use. If you are looking for some sushish cuisine in Koh lipe, i'd recommend Sugoi tepanyaki(swear to God that i am not one of their staff) or make your own with nori :-) again, it's not that i have high standard as half japanese, previously worked as a chef at a sushi restaurant. I was very satisfied with sushi which other restaurants serve while travelling this time. It's just that, this sushi was just NOT okay..!! Plus, of course we know how the fresh Salmon (not smoked), and the regular Philadelphia cream cheese taste like so don't try to trick people or something :) Kokunka, Arogato, Thanks. Yumiko🙇‍♀️
