Come for the 100 baht mojitos & stay for dinner with your toes in the sand, feet away from the ocean. Service was very friendly and if you walk 60 seconds down the beach, watch the sunset into the sea. We throughly enjoyed the lobster thermidor, sashimi & chicken panang.

We found the restaurant on a quick Google search as it was rated No 1 restaurant in Koh Lipe and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Lucas the owner was so professional and friendly, taking the time to explaining every single dish to us and treating us like his family! The food was exquisite: we tried the fresh salmon and tuna sashimi as a starter, we had the carbonara pasta to share, then my partner had the steak and I got the fresh lobster with coconut mash potatoes as a main. We definitely over-ordered as all the food in the menu looked delicious but we finished everything from the plate and just writing the review now and remembering the delicious food we had makes my mouth water! The red wine was also spectacular, Rioja from Spain recommended by Lucas!
At the end of the night we have been offered a free taxi ride by Lucas to the Walking Street with a local guy which also also great!
Overall it was an amazing experience and we will recommend The Hill Restaurant to family and friends!
Lucas you are an amazing person inside out and you should be very proud of yourself and your achievement, building the restaurant and the resort from scratch and making it the best in Koh Lipe!

A memorable night in Ko Lipe! All credits to Lucas, he was taking care of us the whole time. First, we arrived at 17:30 and found our table was set on the beach for a beautiful sunset with cocktails. Afterwards, we were seated in the restaurant. Every dishes were delicious! It was my husband’s birthday, and the staff were really nice and sweet to prepare their self-made cheesecakes as a little surprise. They were delish! We were impressed and will definitely come here again if we are back in Ko Lipe ❤️

Está un poco escondido pero sin duda merece y mucho la pena. Situado sobre la playa de Sunset Beach, por lo que es perfecto para cenar después de ver el atardecer en la playa. Comimos las croquetas Tai y la hamburguesa con mayonesa teriyaki, y puedo decir que es de las mejores hamburguesas que he comido en mi vida. El staff muy amable y de buen rollo. El sonido de fondo: el mar y el hilo musical suave que tienen en el local. Y al estar en el recinto de un resort la tranquilidad es total. Sitio más que recomendable para cenar te quedes donde te quedes en la isla. Me quedo con ganas de poder probar más platos.
