A must try while in Chiangmai Mai!!!!!
While my stay in Chiangmai Mai, Sababa restaurant was my go to place for eats. You get sick of eating rice and noodles everyday, so this was a savior. The place is clean the atmosphere is great and best of all was Ezra's (the owner) hospitality. He really makes you feel at home and that's why I would eat here almost everyday while I was in Chiangmai Mai. For breakfast I would have my eggs and Israeli salad. The falafel was very authentic I had it mainly for lunch. Ezra preps the falafel fresh every day. I'm not a fan of chicken liver but when I had the chicken liver at sababa restaurant it was my go to dish for dinner. The chicken schnitzel was the best in all of Thailand. Ezra was able to advise us on places to see in Chiangmai Mai that you cannot find in trip advisor or other websites. I was upset once I left Chiangmai Mai because it was very difficult to find such great food anywhere else in Thailand. Do not pass this place without at least stopping to say hi to Ezra.
One of my favourite restaurants in Chiang Mai. They have the best falafel platter in town, and the owner, Ezra, is a very warm hearted and kind gentleman.
My boyfriend and I had such a great time at the restaurant and of course we'll come back here.
The food was great, and the new place they just moved into is big and has a great location next the night market. The staff was very nice! We had a great time and highly recommend.

Highly recommended!! Food is so delicious!! Excellent place to eat!! You definitely have to come eat here if you come to Chiang Mai... And people are so kind and nice :) Definitely mi favorite place here in Chiang Mai!! You have to try falafel and the beans soup!!! Don't miss it
What a great place to eat
The Falafel are the best I've ever eaten so we returned to just have them for lunch. The chicken schnitzel was delicious with a fab spiced coating. I would have loved to have been able to buy the spice mix to take home. Aviv was a great and friendly host and we loved the mural telling his uncle's life story.
I could not have had a better experience here! The owner, Ezra, and Aviv were absolutely fantastic! They are incredibly welcoming and so personable. They will make you feel right at home the second you walk in the door. As a celiac, it can be hard to find gluten free options traveling in Asia at times so it was fantastic to find Sababa Israeli Restaurant while I was in Chiang Mai last week! They understands celiac disease and they did everything they could to accommodate me. Thanks again for an amazing meal and experience! Cannot wait to visit again next time I am in Chiang Mai!
Food is always wonderful - I'm here about once a week - and the people are very kind. Great patio for people watching. Veggie friendly! �

Healthy food with tons of vegetables, tasty hummus, babaganush and hummus, crispy falafels! What more can I ask for? :) I would come back there again for sure. If you love israeli cuisine, you should visit this place when in Chiang Mai!

A friend recommended Sababa for liver and onions how Mother makes it and was not disappointed. Aviv is the consummate host and made me feel very welcome, even though I was dining on my own. I was starved after a long day, so treated myself to some hummus too, super tasty and fresh. Delicious, great value and I will be back!
I've been there after a motorbike accident in Novembre 2017. The owner told me and my girlfriend to eat what we wanted and to pay what we could since I was just out of the hospital with practically no money left.
The food was delicious. I greatly recommand the place !
