We each worked in NYC fine dining for years, I’m the son of a chef, so I mean it when I say this was absolutely exceptional. We got fried fish in tamarind sauce, stir fried kale with crispy pork, grilled crayfish in crispy garlic sauce, egg tofu soup with minced chicken and vegetables, and papaya salad. Everything was seriously incredible! Kung is also run by a lovely family, their adorable tiny children’s smiles and giggles as they spent time with their relatives and the other staff, who are all treated like family, made the atmosphere warm and fun! Everyone here seems happy! And it shows in the quality of the cooking. Wonderfully fresh seafood! Absolutely worth a visit!!

A crispy frying done right! Mussel with thai chilli paste (num prik pao) was an adaptation after our request for another seashell is not available. Very nice dish. Grilled tiger prawn was ok. Fresh. The sauce is less spicy for a thai as they cater to western guests. Grilled calamari was good. You can tell it is fresh from the sea!

Recommended by a friend as the best place they had eaten on their travels.... and we were not disappointed the food was amazing and staff were great too, sooo good we are going back for lunch today �

Malina's Kitchen was our favourite place to eat at Koh Lanta sometimes going twice a day! Food is delicious, the people are amazing and it was truly great value for money. Thanks for teaching us how to eat chilly true Thai style and your sticky banana pudding is a winner!
